Taylor
As our Office Manager, Taylor holds a key position. She is our front-line person to parents. She started as our Office Manager in May 2018. Responsibilities for the Office Manager position include registrations, greeting and directing customers, accounts management, customer service (with a smile). Taylor is your go-to -girl for customer service issues, taking payments and other general questions or concerns as appropriate about our recreational and competitive programs, birthday parties and day camps.
Taylor is dependable, professional, self motivated and extremely hard working. LGC is very lucky to have Taylor as a part of our team.
Women’s Head Coach (WAG)
Stephanie (Steph) Bacon
Steph is currently the head coach of the women’s team. Steph joined our club as Women's Head Coach in 2022, bringing many years of coaching experience and a deep love of the sport to our talented women's team.
Men’s Head Coach & Technical Director (MAG)
Alexander Jeltkov (Sasha)
Our Men’s Head Coach and Technical Director, Sasha is a member of the Gymnastics Canada Hall of Fame, a many-time Canadian champion, two-time Olympian, World Championship silver medalist, Pan American and Commonwealth Games gold medalist, a World Cup Gold Medalist, and a solid anchor of the Canadian Men’s Gymnastics team. Sasha comes to Loyalist Gymnastics Club after retiring in late 2007 from competitive gymnastics to share his experience and expertise with young gymnasts in the Kingston and Eastern Ontario area.
Men’s Assistant Head Coach
Brandes Struger-Kalkman
Brandes is a decorated former provincial gymnast, claiming titles at two Provincial Championships and one Eastern Canadian Championship. He is also a former LGC athlete, where his top performance at the National Championships led to a 7th AA finish, which helped Team Ontario secure gold in the team competition, and taking home the National Pommel Horse title at the National Open level.
Brandes returns to Loyalist as a successful coach of Provincial level boys, having taken his athletes to multiple tours and Eastern Canadian Championships. He also judges men's gymnastics and has recently passed the Men's National Judging course.
